Has the economy affected your wedding planning? How? Are you doing things differently?

Not yet. FH will be looking for a job in May of 2009, but he's got a lot of connections, and we seem to do well. We've been saving a lot of money all summer for down payments, so for right now the answer is no.

Not yet for us, and i don't think it will because my parents are thankfully footing the bill.

Not yet, but we had push our wedding from Nov 2008 to Nov 2010, so we could buy the house now. Yes, we are stil working within our budget and there are a lot of things we both won't pay for.

Hasn't yet. Although yesterday I was shooken up. They laid off 2 people here in my office, 10 or 12 within all our offices total, because they needed to down size.
I was so afraid that the say I finally picked my RH that I would be laid off. I'm hoping things improve around here. They sort of reassued those of us left that we are ok for now and they needed to downsize to keep the rest of us.
Who really knows. I'm just saving whatever I can incase of the worst.
