yikes. we are definitely spending way too much... but it's a once in a lifetime thing!
i feel a little uncomfortable posting the amount though, i don't want to get any mean comments!

nope-- me too and when it is all said and done i have calculated (including HM and wedding bands) figures around $80,000 i think it has a lot to do with our hall-- which is pricey and the fact that FIL's have a VERY VERY VERY extensive guest list.

Ur not the only one, I think mine is coming out to even more than that Oh well its a once in a lifetime thing and we want it to be everything we always wanted.

The same here, I found that by getting a pakage deal for Us (FH & I) it saved us alot of money.

My parents are giving me $10,500 but everything else is us. I am trying go get FH to ask his parents to foot the bill for the flowers and the RD but who knows. At the end of it all, I am thinking anywheres from 18-20,000...but I think it will be worth every penny!

i never set a budget b/c when we first got engaged, it's not like we has thousands of dollars to just blow. so i tried to keep it minimal but this is costing us like $35k so far. me and FH are paying for this ourselves!!
can we never talk about this again?!

So far I think we're up to $27,000 not including my dress which is supposed to be my mothers contribution (though I might end up having to pickup the tab on that one).
That being said for $27,000.00 includes all the most expensive items in the budget:

By the time everything is said and done I'm hoping to max at $40,000. Hell I'd even be happy if I can stay within just a few grand over that. I know, it's nuts!

at my current projections (since my big day is nearly upon us)...with HM, i'd say about $30K or so.
i remember when FH and i thought we could do it for $10K boy were we wrong!

Wow Ya Im around 60K too I mean the hall alone is Like 33K I am also having over 200 People ..
Ya I give you girls SOOO much Credit for keeping lower then 20K That Is AWESOME
