I figured the entire total out last night and it's only costing around 14k. That includes everything down to the glue for the letters...everything! I went 4k over budget but I knew I would so I actually stayed in my budget

Don't show this to you know who!

Wow that's great especially for a Sat. night wedding how did you do it???

Re: A question no one wants to answer

I believe mine will be over $35,000 (not sure how much over as of yet-- my dress was more than expected & our guest list still keeps on climbing-- so that is a killer right there!!!!!

Uggh!!! I am not very good at keeping to a budget-- I am trying though....
I am impressed by some of you girls-- able to keep your costs down!!!

I've been thinking it over--- I think it will be closer to $50,000 when all is said and done-- but that is including the Honeymoon. WOW-- way to much

Re: A question no one wants to answer

It is looking like it will cost us 20K after all is said and done. And I'm not including theHM!!! Ugh!

Re: A question no one wants to answer

with EVERYTHING, 20K.... and we're having close to 200 people.

A lot of money, but judging from most other posts, it could have been a lot worse.

what saved us financially was having it at a low-cost hall... they gave us a great deal... also having it in February on a Saturday afternoon helped us from everything from the photographer, the band and the limos... as they will all be available to book a night event if they want and it's their low season. also booking with non-LIW vendors helped too.... since they're not so well-known, they were able to work with us on the pricing of things...

I wanted to keep the budget low. At the end i think i will spend 20, 000. How are you keeping it under that. The hall alone came to 9,500 and thats at 75pp. AHHHHH!!!!!

A wise man told me that you can take you RH price and double it to cover the cost of your wedding. Well, I wanted to spend what my rehersal hall cost. He was right. It is double.

Re: A question no one wants to answer

So far we have managed to spend about 36,000 and the only things I have booked so far are the RH (175 minimum..will actually be closer to 200) and band...
already way more than intended...ironic considering we picked a winter date to SAVE money!
