Yay for Girardi & Posado
Nay for Arod. He has a poor attitude and brings it to the clubhouse. Yea he had a good year but what happened to him in Oct. He shut off after Sept. 30th.
The ONLY reason is he coming back is noone will pay him that insane amount

nobody asks about jeter who did absolutely NOTHING in october

no jeter bashing please, he's my FH

LOL the WHOOOOLE team shut off seriously. Cabrera actually did ok but its funny bc everyone says what happened to arod, he did better than MOST of the players statistically...nobody asks about jeter who did absolutely NOTHING in october

Oh i know the whole team shut off, i hate when they do that. its like they forgot how to play baseball in Oct.. But Arod had a great year and then Oct came and nothing.

for those who don't know, boras who is the one who leaked a-rod would leave isn't part of the negotiations...a-rod called the yankees himself and asked to come back and they agreed to meet with him but without boras...so good for boras for being a big mouth

See, here's my thing about A-Rod vs. the rest of the Yankees. I dont think he loves playing.. I think he just happens to be really good at it, but he doesn't have the passion.

Jeter has passion, he'll dive into the stands for a play and risk being out for a season to help out the team (that actually could be considered really dumb though ), he's wanted to be a Yankee his WHOLE LIFE... A-Rod, well he wanted to be a Met, but I guess the Mets weren't coughing up the payday he wants (not deserves).

but isn't it better to say you did well most of the year rather than saying a player didn't do anything most of the year so the other players should be looked at closely under the microscope...and he did do things but he cant win it on his own...even the last game they played he did decent but nobody else did, didnt he also get the last run but nobody else stepped up to the plate to take care of business, he cant hit for everybody

But it shouldn't be on a 'when it's convenient for you' basis... he should be an asset ALWAYS, not when he 'wants' to be... he should WANT to be an asset every single second.

i think he does have passion but everybody is different...a-rod is a very calculated player...last year when he was in a slump they were saying the problem was he over thought the game too much, the guy would go home and watch hours of video of himself to see what he did wrong, he would watch other players to study them and their moves and i think the NYC fans took alot out of him. I see it all the time with people their different styles of playing sports. You'll have the crazy, going all out, sliding and just out there...then you have the quiet, very calculated and reserved players.

we cant go by the fact that jeter wanted to be a yankee his whole life, and a-rod didnt bc then every player should be criticized for that...i mean look how many of them jump from team to team all the time and grew up in other places and wanting to be part of another team, its part of the game

And A-rod can't even hit for himself in the post season... his average dropped the further into the post season he got.

And as for his agent... You can't place all the blame on him. If it was all his agent, than I think A-Rod would've been returning phone call that he was getting from confused players and Joe Torre... That's just what I think though.... no one will ever know who played what role in that whole shitshow.

see thats why the yankees lose bc everyone is focusing on one player, what about everyone elses numbers...lets compare jeters numbers vs arods numbers in the post season.

and im a jeter fan but hey he sh*t the bed and nobody talks about that
