a runner for the church

I opted not to do one. I don't think it would be a tripping hazard but they are paper and after everyone walks on it, it looks bad (more at the end near alter than in the middle).

Re: a runner for the church

You might want to check with your church to make sure they allow it. I think some churches are nixing them these days.

My church already told me that they don't allow it.

a runner for the church

At my brothers wedding I had to wind up carrying my niece because she kept tripping on it. So if you have a young flower girl or ring bearer you may want to skip it.

a runner for the church

Does the runner go into the church? I was so confused when we spoke about this to our limo company hahha I thought it was just something outside for getting in and out of the limos.

a runner for the church

I hadn't even thought about it until our limo suggested. She made a great point. If there is snow (getting married Jan) people are gona have wet feet and then I'll walk down the aisle and my dress will get wet/dirty. I have to call my church and see if they allow it though..

a runner for the church

Also, they do have it where they roll it out right before your wedding starts, after everyone is seated and ready for the processional!!

a runner for the church

I wouldn't think it's necessary. especially if you have to pay for it and are questioning it anyway

Our florist told us if we are getting married outside at CHCC to NOT get a runner. The brick causes uneven ground, and can be a bit dangerous since you can't see the cracks. I don't know if this makes any sense, sorry haha

To the OP, I think aisle runners are really nice and I'll definitely be using one.

Ro- what if your getting marked inside at CHCC? Where are you getting yours from the Limo company , I can't remember of they (CHCC) provide it for indoor ceremonies

a runner for the church

My church won't allow us to use one because of tripping hazzards... they said it's happened before. That made me nervous, I don't know if I would want one just hearing that!

If CHCC does not provide it, we will get it from our florist.
