Yes it's selfish, but I'm really really hoping that another bride doesn't book the same wedding date as me at Jericho Terrace....or at least doesn't reserve the same room as I have (Penthouse).
I'm getting married at noon and have the space until 6pm, but we love to party and I'm hoping that for a few extra dollars I can extend my reception by an hour or two. But I know I won't be able to if another party is schedule for right after in the same space.
Anyone want to join me in sending this message into the universe?

Thanks ladies. We are going there today so I can do a room walk through again, so I'm going to ask my BM. It feels so far yet so close! I guess it would be pretty late for someone to book that room as it's a little less than 4 months away, but you never know.

The venue should definately let you know soon.. you have less than 4 months!!!!
Good thing is if its not booked yet it probably wont be and you can party all day!!!!!

So we went to Jericho tonight and spoke with Anthony who informed us that there will be another event at the same time as our wedding as well as afterwards. I did feel some type of way about it because I kept envisioning chaos, but he really helped ease my fears. He said there is someone in charge of that very issue...making sure that parties don't cross paths and things related to operations run smoothly. I attended a wedding at JT about 4 years ago and I don't remember there being any confusion or problems and there was another ceremony going on at the same time. My friend whose wedding it was said that she hardly noticed, other than the fact that a grooms man went missing for about 20 minutes before the ceremony....he crashed the other wedding reception!

i know there is another wedding at my RH that day - her ceremoy starts after my cocktail hour.... I am not concerned at all!!!!!! and CLM is a smaller place.... no worries!
