Hi Mishy,

Good luck with the flowers. Let me know who you go with. I used the Wedding Center. I dealt with Bob. They do real or silk flowers for the same price. I am having real. They are much less expensive and have an excellent reputation--I checked them out. I got my dress there too.

Hi 2003 Wedding,

How was the Disney on Ice show? Hope you enjoyed it! Lisa Diana and I went to a Greek restaurant in the Source Mall for brunch. It was awesome! Then we went shopping John and I are going over the honeymoon stuff tonight.

Hi again girls,

I am getting ready for my appointments tomorrow with the florists. I have a picture I'm printing out of the bouquet I would like, but other than that, I have no idea. Ok, so maybe I'm not so prepared after all.

I agree with everyone, I would love to get together with everyone again, it really was hard talking with the girls at the other end of the table, it would be nice to be able to chat some more.

Lilacs27... I'm glad to see you are on and posting away. Isn't it fun?

Thanks again ladies for a great night. Oh, my FH was really happy with the prize I won, all we have to do is pick out our pictures and we are set to go. I love my prize.

Ladies,

FH loved the DVD player. I went straight to his house after the GTG and although he was sleeping, he woke right up to open the box and start checking it out. Needless to say he fully endorses what he once referred to as my 'silly board habit.'

Septemberbride2003, we went to check out LCA last night. Frank was nice and his work was decent but even with the coupon it was $1500.00. So, it's a no go. Perhaps you could use it though. I would be happy to pass it on. Wouldn't want it to go to waste. Let me know if your interested.

Today I will be going to Michaels to check out the sale. Have a good MLK day evertbody. So glad we have this thread!

Laurie is so nice Mishy- they are really good at the Milleridge and they might charge less than Burton's... I've seen their work first hand about a gazillion times.. you won't be disappointed.. Chris & Sheryl are so great too.

If only I can get through the table arrangements tonight... ahhhh.. that should be my last big task.. besides getting through the vows :)

I booked with Burtons today for flowers. Mike was so nice and gave me a great price. It feels great being able to cross one more thing off the list.

Ok, advice needed. We are starting to think of favors and my mom keeps saying how she once got a cake cutter and thought what a great idea it was. What do you girls think? Part of me thinks its nice because it is something people might actually use someday, but on the other hand I think people are going to think it's not the best favor. Any comments?

hey mishy---i think the cake cutter is a great idea--it is practical and won't just sit in someone's drawer! i priced around for ice cream scoopers and pasta spoons/forks (not sure what it's called-it's the pasta 'scooper'!)-they were under $6 i think--i'll have to go check-- so i am thinking the cake cutters will be around the same price..........great to hear that you booked burtons-another thing off of the list -that's a great feeling! are you getting the high centerpiece roses? fill us in!

Hey girls! Looks like we all had a fun-filled wedding weekend. I picked up my veil and headpiece today. I got it at Patchogue Fantasyland. I love it and cant wait to wear it. My FH and I just got finished registering at Linens and Things. Registering has not been my favorite thing. We actually hate it, but we really had a good time at Linens and Things. My FH was so happy when I came home with the free Jordan Almond bags. He loves them so much he wanted to keep them for himself instead of using them at the wedding
Good thing I went up and switched they will come in handy.

We met with the DJ last night..we are going to a showcase tonight to listen. The weekend was fun...went ice skating in central park.

My mother & I almost came to blows over the table arrangements last night- holy crap....HOW ANNOYING.

Last night I got home (if you can call a bunch of boxes in a room a home) and was so overwhelmed w/ moving, getting married, etc, I was ready to run to the hills- but I'm better now, I hope. Moving has been an experience- I cannot locate my shirts--- annoying! We're getting TV on Wednesday- so a little mindless activity will take the edge off I hope.

By the way- I'm in the promotions business- if you guys want to do favors I can probably hook you up with some relatively affordable items that are personalized... I know we have cute ice cream scoopers and that type of thing as well as pens, t-shirts, pens, shot glasses.. pretty much anything.

Sorry to hear that...I'm sure everything will be okay. It has to be a bit stressful trying to do all that the week before your wedding. Just picture how nice it will be in Mexico :)

I'll def keep that in mind. We haven't really thought about favors.
