A tad annoyed...

So I went ahead and bught 144 voltile candles and holders to put around my CPS... that match my wedding perfectly. We went to the RH today to go over some things, and he said that we need to get bigger glasses/holders to put them in! It's a new thing that passed that the candle has to be a certain length below the top... Mine just misses it!

What do you think I shoul do..? B/c I reeealy want these candles...makes it more elegent... HELP!! Thnks!

Is there any way you could like cut the bottom of the candles to make them shorter and fit in?

Well, if my RH is saying no.... don't I have to do whatever they say..? Maybe I can attach a note to everyone's place card telling them to light them??? LOL

I'll have to bring the candle and holder in...tonight I only showed a pic. I'm sooo angry. Our normal guy wasn't there...this other guy that I really didn't care for was... but I jjut need some reassurance...

Def. not dumb! If I can't persuade them to keep them as is, I will totally sit there with my knives and cut them all down! HAHA. It's only the smallest amount too! And, these candles burn for up to 10 hours! So, I will have plenty of candle!

if you cut the candles make sire you remove the wic first
especially if it's one of the ones that is attatched to a metal disk on the base of the candle or the wic will just fall out.

You could also just burn them down,. that way, the disc and wick would stay intact. . guests won't know b/c they will be lit anyway so they have no idea when they were lit. .
