I am currently getting all my addresses together and let me just say to start early...very early! And most importantly, ask Fh for them immediately cuz we all know that we could do something in a week and it takes them 7 months!!!!
Ive been asking my Fh to get all addresses with correct spellings of names/husbands/wifes/fh/fw, etc. together since the summer and now I told him today that I need them by next week and he sighs!!!!!!!!!!!
So please save yourself the stress and start now!
omg i forgot the best of all!!!!...he said, well i did get some, so i say ok, can i have them and he says well i dont know where they are! Ok, so you dont have them then genius!!!!

Haha I asked FH for all his a loooong time ago and I got 7. yes 7 out of the 80 something people he wanted to ask. So about 2 months ago I just gave up and started asking, so I got a list from his mom as well as anytime we saw a friend I got theres.
Ugg FH's are annoying sometimes!

I actually started a form through Google Forms. If you have a gmail account it's pretty easy to set up. People fill in the form and submit it with their info and it all goes into an excel document for you. We sent it out to everyone and have all of our addresses. Pretty cool. If anyone wants help setting one up let me know. I can show you what mine looks like.

I'm lucky, we had a baby shower in March and I already have most of his!! It took me the whole 9 months to get those but now I have them!! Otherwise I'd really have to hurt him..

oh boy, i dealt with this too... and when we got all of the addresses FINALLY, we had two last names missing. how that even happens, i don't know. and 3 of his rsvp's have come back with wrong address...... fh told his dad to handle it because they are the ones that gave us these addresses.

I know! Thank god I started as early as I did. I don't think the guest list is entirely complete on his end as far as the # of guests but my side is completed WITH addresses,
Now we just have to work on his. He has until May of next year because that's when we are sending out the STDs.

That's a great idea. I'm pretty organized so getting addresses for my list and my parents will not be a problem. FH mom has a very small list so that shouldnt be a problem to get. I think I will tell FH to start getting his addresses after the holidys. He tends to be a procrasinator so it may take him a bit longer.

LoL my wedding is in eleven months and I have been hounding FH and FMIL for these things. At one point FMIL was adamently refusing to give us anything, but I eventually got some stuff out of her!
