I supervise people who know that we have the SAME deadline each week, I don't cut them any slack because it all ulitmately falls on my shoulders.

I bet the same people who are missing deadlines would never miss lunch!
My 'fav 'are the customers who need me to do something for them by a certain date, so I tell them what info I need, and they don't get back to me until 4PM the day before (GRRRR )
