So I was with my BP on Saturday ordering their gowns () and one of my BM suggested using the fabric remnants of their alterations / hems to wrap their bouquets. She'd been in a wedding recently where they did that. I'd never heard of it before but isn't it such a great idea? Just thought I'd share!

Yeah my florist is doing this too. So we are dropping off all the fabric to her the week of the wedding! YAY! I love this idea too. I had never heard of it either till my florist suggested it!

Yup! Just make sure you have them finish the off the end that the cut. They dont have to but its better just in case there anre any loose strings.

My friend did this at her wedding. Not only did it look beautiful, it was comfortable to hold.

Re: A useful bride tidbit
My florist actually prefers that we do it this way, he said that they use cuttings first, ribbon second.
Now I have to get my delinquent BMs to cooperate with me!

im also doing this. I told the girls to get any scraps they can. I'm hoping to use the material for other things as well, just need to think of what hah. Good thing i have many short girls...there will be lotss of leftovers.
