I'll let the AC run to cool the car off then turn it off and roll down all the windows - I believe my pops calls it '4/60' AC

i try opening my windows first to see if i get a breeze when i'm driving...otherwise...its on with the AC...there's nothing worse than being aggrivated with A-holes on the road AND being hot.

I do a bit of both! I am a smoker so I roll my windows down in the car... There is no point in AC when the windows are down right? I'm to spoiled to leave the windows down all the time.. It just gets tooo hot!

How does the A/C use gas?
I'm Confused

ETA: I have been told this is totally not true, that using the heat wastes alot more gas

I voted open the windows... but I really don't go anywhere ... no use wasting gas when I am not working... I have to confess though I have the AC on in the house... I have been trying to open windows here to to cut back on the electric bill.. but today... yeah it is on.. I had too all 3 dogs were panting... one of the cats was (well her tongue was hanging out... so i was like ok.
