a WARNING about Sandy

I know a lot of brides on here have recomeded Sandy's Shoes for reasonably priced wedding shoes. Just wanted to warn you about sending your BM there for shoes (especially if they are going to be dyed) My sister has a wedding next weekend (10-6) and bought a pair of shoes from there to be dyed black. The 1st time she got them back the shoes were speckled and one of the shoes was barely black so she gave them back to the girl and asked them to be re-dyed. She just picked them up again yesterday (Sunday) and when she came back she was IN TEARS; an older man (I don't know if that was Sandy) got very angry at her b/c she still was not satisfied with the dye job; the shoes had scuffs all over them and there was dye all over the shoe (where there should have been no dye) he told her that no one will see it b/c no one looks at shoes w/ a magnifying glass and she should just deal with it. she asked for a refund since he was not willing to re-dye them again for a third time and he refused. yelling at her by now; told her that once shoes are dyed they are not returnable. and for her to come back in tears after spending $63 on a pair of shoe and for them to look bad (and they do-it was such a crap job!!) Sorry this is so long but I am so angry at this guy for being so nasty to her and making her cry. And I thought you guys should know! ~Kim

That stinks. Although I'm very surprised. I had no problem (customer-service wise) with my own shoes and my bridal party - all 5 - got their shoes there and dyed a very deep burgundy. They all came out great.
