Talking about donated centerpieces, it got me thinking about raffles that will be going on...
I know that you girls have organized some great raffles, and was wondering, are we going to find out what the raffles are??? Or how much the raffles are going to be sold for?
I know money's tight with alot of us, but I'm a sucker for raffles and would love to be prepared for how much money to bring for raffle items!!
If someone can let us know this info when its decided, that would be great!!

I'll bump a thread for you with some of the raffles, I'm still working on getting some more.
As for cost, we were thinking maybe $1, definitely no more then that though bc I know every1 is saving.
Also, we will be doing a 50/50 raffle as well so one lady could win some CASH!

ya in my sorority when we did raffles, we usually did $1 per ticket, $10 for a diff amount (either like 12 or 13 tix) and $20 for an arms length (but it has to be the same arm measuring it out LOL a nice long arm to make sure its at least a couple more than 20 tix...maybe we could do something like that it may get ppl to buy more tix

nope no profit....some of the money will go to reimburse some things we have had to buy for the shower, for example, favors. any money that is left over will be donated. once i figure out all the details, i figured we could all vote on a charity to donate any extra money too.

IMO you should sell them in blocks of $10 so 10 tickets for 10 bucks it would make it so much easier.

If there's money left over, I would really like it to be donated. Voting on a charity is good idea. And reimbursing yourselves for any out of pocket expenses is cool too.That's only fair with all the work you're putting into this. As long as I don't see one of you lovely ladies walking around with a new coach bag the week after the shower
