? about BMs getting measured

DO they measure the girls in front of each other?
MOH doesnt want to go with everyone else b/c she doesnt want them to measure her in front of everyone else.

ETA: Lilette's is closed from Dec. 17th-26th so I wanted to get all the dresses ordered before then. I figured the easiest way was to have as many girls go at once (one of my BMs is coming down from westchester that weekend and two don't drive so its just easier for us to go together).
I'm not against her going another time to get measured at all. But I thought it would be convienent for as many girls to go at one time!

Yes, usually. It's been like that everytime I've been in a BP

ETA: maybe she can request they do it privately? Or go alone without the other BMs

yea they do measure each individual but the other girls were paying attention to the measurements of the girl who was being measured at the time!

When I was in a BP in July, each BM went separately to the salon whenever they had the time to pay their deposit and get measured.

3 out of 4bm got measured in front of one another but thats because we all wanted to see the measurements of my 16year old bm. we were so jealous.lol

the 4th lives out of state and got measured there. i just gave that info to the bc and didnt share it with anyone else.

I took my girls to Lillette's two weeks ago to get measured. All of the girls sat out in the lobby, while each one individually went into the dressing room and put the dress on. Then Gerri measured each girl in the dressing room area, while the rest of the girls were in the lobby talking. No one saw anyone's measurments, except me because a few girls were asking my opinions on some things.

I feel for her Colleen since I was the largest BM in my couisns wedding that day. I know when we were at DB they girl whisphered to me about the sizes so not to embarass me. Its hard being the larger girl give her hugs from me Colleen. I think if she requested hers to be private I dont think it would matter.

NO. all my girls were taken individually into a dressing room and were measured. I am using Lillettes as well.

maybe she could go earlier and get measured and than she can go again when you go as a group - that way she will still be there but wont have to worry about getting measured in front of everyone.
