Are the majority of you chosing a BM dress on your own and then showing your BM's and telling them to order it, or are you going shopping w/them and letting them select it. Almost every dress that I email to my cousin, who's a BM, she keeps saying, 'Oh I don't know if I like that until I try it on, or 'no thats not for me'. Keep in mind she's a size 4, so I would say almost everything looks good on you when you are that thin. The majority of weddings that I was in, I hated the dress, but I didn't say anything. I was wearing it for 10 hours! I shouldn't be having this much stress, I only have 2 BM's and 1 MOH.

I had my BMs go with me. I wanted to make sure that everyone felt comfortable in the dress. I have 5 girls in total and they range in body type and size. I personally felt that it was just right. JMO. However also my girls are pretty easy to work with ... which makes things easier

I looked and saw some dresses that I liked and then brought the girls to see them and try them on! TG they love the one that I love!

I totally understand.... I have decided not to show anyone the dress until I email it to them to purchase. My MOH is the one who is turning down every dress i send to her... so I have decided to make an appt at the bridal shop, for her to try in three dresses that I like, I am not sending the dress to anyone, just so I can have some peace. Out of the three she should like one of them, if not I will have to make the decision for her. If you let them, they will drive you crazy, everyone has an opinion. My advice is to pick out 2-3 dress you like then have her try it on.

I would ask your cousin to do some searching on the internet...and have her e-mail you dresses she likes....maybe this will help give you an idea of what you could look for that she won't complain about???? good luck!

I saw a lot I liked, gave my BM the style numbers and sent them to David's. The stupid people there gave them all the wrong dresses. So, they never tried any of the ones I like. After that I was so pissed at David's I decided to go with a local boutique. I tried a few on that I liked, narrowed it down and brought 2 BM to pick. So, that's how I chose! Good luck....I try to remind myself that it's my day, not theirs
