?? about DH/FH

Another thread got be thinking about this...

Are there traits that you wish your FH had that he doesn't??

I'd have to be honest and say yes

Oh, totally. I wish he didn't take so much $hit from everyone. He always says yes when someone needs something, even if they are obviously taking advantage of him. He needs to be a little tougher in that area.

Hmm, maybe they are still typing because the list is so long

Re: ?? about DH/FH

sometimes i wish fh wouldn't let others put him down or take as much 'stuff' from them as he did - fh hates to fight or argue but sometimes i wish he would - b/c he deserves better than to be crapped on!!!

Re: ?? about DH/FH

pschica, maybe we can get our FH's together and make them fight eachother (verbally of course). We'll enroll them in a debate course

Re: ?? about DH/FH

One of the things I really like about DH is that he doesn't take *&%% from anyone. He tells them exactly what he thinks. I think its so great!

Re: ?? about DH/FH

thats a good idea - i just saw you had the same thign written...

except knowing my fh - he will befirend him instead of debate him....

its hard, isn't it? - b/c when i see things that happen sometimes i just want to 'protect' him (not the right word but you get the point!), you too right??

Re: ?? about DH/FH

See the flip side to him being a pushover, is that he is the nicest man I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He LOVES children, he LOVES animals, he helps old ladies cross the street, he helps people after they've slipped on the sidewalk, etc. He would help anyone in need, no matter where he was, what he was doing. He has the amazing ability to make me feel like everything is going to be ok, even when I am sure as $hit that it's not going to be And he would do anything for me, no matter what it was. Aww, see, Stacy? Your post about the thing that annoys me about him made me think of all the things that I LOVE about him. THanks!

Re: ?? about DH/FH

pschica, I TOTALLY feel the same way. I always want to run and yell at the people who take advantage of him! And as much as I would love for him and your FH to debate, you're right, they really WOULD befriend eachother, even if it was JUST to avoid conflict

Re: ?? about DH/FH

rachel - its a good thing your fh doesn't have the same name as mine - or else i would think we're both marryign the same guy...lol....its the reason i love fh too!

Re: ?? about DH/FH

Uh Oh, he DOES live far away....or at least I THINK he does

I wish he was a bit more spontaneous. DH is the conservative one in this relationship. I'm more of the outgoing, crazy one. We balance each other out (or rather he reels me in ) but yeah, now and then I wish he'd just go a bit crazy instead of worrying about what's 'proper' or not.

I wish FI was more expressive. He tends to be conservative when it comes to expressing his feelings about something. It's like pulling teeth sometimes!! He's also a little too easily influenced by peer pressure for my taste.
But I still love him!
