is it too late to have my first fitting xmas and then january?? what did y'all do??

i think that would be fine. My first fitting is tomorrow and I'm getting married in 6 weeks. It depends of course on what sorts of alterations you'll need, but I think you'll be fine as it won't be crazy wedding season in the winter anyway, so the seamstresses won't be so backed up with other gowns to work on.

Definitly not too late...i had my first fitting 3 months before but thats only b/c i live out of state and it was more convenient for me this way and then my final fitting was one week before my wedding day. You should be fine.

thanks girls, i feel better now i thought it was too late, but i dont want it too early either
im hoping to just need a hem since the gown has a corset back but we'll see
