About RK Bridal

No frills means they dont do the alterations for you, the girls can take it elsewhere. Also, if you order online, no frills, they will price match the lowest price you can find.

The dress I bought, Jim Hjelm 5735, was $280 in stores. I did the RK no frills program, and the matched the price of $183 I found online, and beat it by 5%, so total came to $173.85!

The short version is that you order your BM dresses there by putting everyone's measurements (that they take themselves) on an order form and the dresses will be at a discounted price. Deal is that you cannot get your dresses altered or measured there, you have to use your own seamstress.

My Bill Levkoff BM dresses were on average $250 in other stores, I got them for $184 at RK.

Hmmm, I'm not sure exactly what your talking about but my guess is that it's a very large place, with a lot of dresses, almost like a mini factory. And depending on the day, you might not get personal service. I'm not saying that it's not a good place. I went there once for BM dresses and they have a great selection and if you ask someone working there, they will def help you. It's just not as 'cozy & intimate' (for lack of better words) as some of the other places that are more like boutiques.

you get the dress at a lower price

heres how it works...when you go to the store you will see on the price tag of dresses theres one price on the front and a separate on the back. The one on the front is if you order it in the store and alter it there, the price on the back is the price if you do their no frills program. For example and this is an actual example i remember the price, one of the dresses was $256 if you got it in the store thats before tax and alterations, but if you did the no frills program that same dress was $186

what we do is get the form for the designer we are getting, it has their measurement chart so this is a guide for us to know what size to order it...we go online to rk bridals site and order all the dresses on there. They will deliver it to wherever we want...since one of the bm's has a house in NJ we were told to have it all shipped there bc this way we won't get charged tax.

the thing is if you do this, you dont get it altered at RK bridal, you bring it to your own place to do so

haha! Welcome to my world....except my MOH 'accidentally' got pregnant after the dresses already came in and my other BM just found out she's pregnant after months of trying. Very happy for them both but it's causing MAJOR headaches in the BM dress dept. I've decided that I'm not going to worry about it and trust that they will be able to work it out...I hear through the grapevine that there has been some rush re-ordering but they don't want me to know so I don't freak out.

they will do this...however to ship separately i think theres a charge for each dress but its about $7 each, i have the sheet at home so i can tell you exactly how much later but i think it is $7. Plus if theyre out of state and getting it shipped there its perfect bc they wont get charged tax

it is seriously worth it...i mean yeah its not a boutique but honestly even going there they were helpful and i liked it bc i was able to go through all the racks myself and pick out tons of dresses for the girls to see before trying on. They helped us when we said were gonna do the no frills and they answered all our questions and gave us helpful info. Its worth it bc you will save the girls money and thats whats important...i mean they all liked the bm dress but with alterations and tax it would've come out to over $300...this way the dress is under $200 and even with alterations it will still cost less than the cost of the dress, so under $250 with alterations.

You can also go to the store and do this. You don't need to do it online.

They will match the shipping price from the website they are matching the dress price. So it ended up being $5 each for the 3 dresses I had shipped, with no tax. I picked 2 up, so there was tax, but no shipping fee.

It was cheaper to ship them!

how or where should I check to find a cheaper dress?
Are there any online stores or how do I prove it to them that the dress is cheaper...
