So my wedding is Sept 6, its a holiday weekend so I always thought it was ok to send invites out 3 months b4...also sending earlier helps if you have a B-list...hehe

SO do you girls think its ok to send my invites out the beginning of June???

I sent mine out 3 months early cause of it being on a Thursday... I say go for it.

i don't see why not. i sent mine out 2.5 months in advance and my rsvp date came and went and we're still waiting on 40 ppl...so i say the more time you give people, within reason, the better...though i wouldn't send them earlier than that (not that you were going to :o) i just don't think if you send them out too early, people might sorta forget that it's coming... jmo :o)

Once I get my invitations it will be a little over 2 months. But we sent out the saves the dates late, so it is fresh intheir minds.

I feel like the people who rsvp right away will and the people who wait last minute will be last minute no matter how much time you give!

I think it's fine especially since it's a holiday weekend.

I sent mine out earlier also because my wedding is a Friday night and I knew a lot of people would probably want to take off from work. I also had 1/2 the invites go to OOTG and I knew they would have to purchase airlines tickets ahead to save some cash. HTH

I'm getting married the day after you and our invites are going into the mail on July 1.

Personally, I think 3 months is a little early, especially if you sent STDs. The earliest I'd mail them is June 15.

Even with STDs, there are people rejecting us because it's the weekend after a holiday weekend, and people apparently like to go away THEN. So. . .I say you're fine, but be prepared for a slower return rate.

there is nothing wrong with sending them early, especially that holiday weekend. i got married columbus day weekend, which isn't that big of a holiday and i think it send them about 2.5 months before. so you should be fine sending them the beginning to mid June.

I would do it since it's a holiday weekend and it gives you time for your B-list.
