about the suffolk co. tornado warning..

Tornado Warning

Issued by the National Weather Service at 9:28 am EDT on July 18, 2007

... The Tornado Warning for southwest Suffolk County is cancelled...

The strong low level rotation that was earlier detected has
weakened... .therefore the Tornado Warning has been cancelled.
However... the storm is still capable of producing damaging winds.

PHEW!

i know! i started to worry that i would be stuck at my office all day.. but now it looks like it is clearing up a little.. the flood outside my door has gone away and the sun is peaking out i think. woo hoo! so glad you girls are all ok!!
