Absolute DJ? Anyone used them or seen them at a wedding?
Hi Everyone - I am considering booking Absolute DJ for my wedding at the end of June 06 - just a few months away and I still have no DJ!! Has anyone seen them at a wedding? I met with Kevin (the owner) at the LI Wedding show yesterday. I liked him b/c he didn't seem cheesy and he knows our hall very well (which is a little bit of a different set up than the traditional catering hall). Pricing is not the cheapest - probably middle of the road. If those of you who have seen Absolute at either a wedding or a showcase could give me some feedback, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!! - Laura
P.S. Would you recommend seeing a DJ at a showcase before booking? It's hard to tell what they're capable of just by meeting them, but I am running out of time!!

You can try doing a search on the boards, you might be able to find some reviews on them also!

I did a pretty extensive search on Absolute on this forum before I posted this. I found 2 girls who are using them, but no reviews of Absolute b/c those 2 people are not married yet. I also checked the reviews section and couldn't find anyone who used them. This is also a tough one to search because a lot of people use 'absolutely' in their posts and it turns up search results that aren't relevant.

My cousin used them at his wedding two years ago, and we're still talking about how awesome they are. This is a big reason we're using them for our wedding. But once we sat down and spoke with Kevin that was the clincher. I sent you Forum mail. But we loooove them!!!

Hello--I just wrote to another bride, who was looking for a Dj. Our wedding is in May and we booked them over a year ago.They are the house Dj at Giorgiod, and thank god, because they have been wonderful. They sound great, and they are so professional. We heard some stories of other Djs who were a nightmare, and some apparently had younger 'kids' working for them, who really did not understand the business. We have been dealing with Jeff from Absolute, and he is such a gentleman. We also just went to a wedding a few months ago, and they too booked Absolute*even though we had no idea before getting there!) So, I hope this helps...any other questions, Fm me anytime!

My sister used them, my sister's best friend used them, and I am using them.. they are really awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
