AC Mini-Moon
Ok ladies, I need some help. I want to take FH on a mini-moon in AC the weekend after we get married (we aren't going on our HM until December), but I'm not sure where to stay. We got engaged in AC at the Borgata, but due to several issues we had when we were there (he arranged to have flowers at our table at dinner, they weren't there, so he had to leave our table to go talk to someone. We got charged for 'champagne and water damage' in the room, which was complete BS because nothing was on the carpet AT ALL - but we didn't take pictures of the room when we left so he got charged a TON of money on his CC. Stuff like that.) I don't want to stay there. The only other place I've stayed was the Tropicana and I don't really think of that as 'romantic' lol. Any ideas? I'd like to be close to all the action and whatnot, but still have a nice room with a view to go back to.TIA!

OMG, that is horrible about the Borgata. I have stood there a few times and with some crazy friends and have had noproblems.
The Revel is new, but I have never stood there.
I like Caesars. They have some nice restaurants and the pier is across the way with a ton of restaurant options. They have a nice spa but no indoor pool.
Another suggestion is Mohegan Sun. We have stood there overnight and gone to Mystic for the day/dinner and if you like wine, there are many winey's in the area. They have s spa and an indoor pool.

The last time we went to AC we stayed at the Water Club but that's affiliated with the Borgata so you may not want that. It was really nice, quieter than the Borgata with a really beautiful spa. It is completely removed from the casino, you have to travel through a 'tunnel' like area. I might also check out the Revel, I've hear good things about it but have never stayed there.

I've stayed at Caesars and the Chelsea. The chelsea isn't right in the middle of the action so it is more romantic and more of a boutique hotel! it is beautiful and such a pleasure to stay there!

Trump taj is a good option, we go a few times a year and have been to tropicana and harrahs too. Trump taj is our favorite of them. Make reservations early for the italian restaurant il Mulino, the food is amazing!!

My friend said the revel is very couple friendly and relaxing .. unlike the tropicana and the more upbeat places.. Plus if you look online the place is amazing! I would 100 percent do the revel for a mini moon

I've stayed in the regular rooms as well as the suites at Taj Mahal and they are awesome! One of the suites we stayed in had a living room with a fireplace and a full bar, the bedroom had a jacuzzi - it was amazing! Some of the decor is outdated, so if you want something newer, I've heard great things about Revel. I'm not positive about the location, but a few of my friends stayed there last month and can't wait to go back!

It's like a mini honeymoon. We aren't going on our honeymoon until 2 months after the wedding, so I want to do something small to surprise him.

Gotcha! Is that typically only done when the honeymoon is far off?
