It took us 2.5 hours to get from Kings Park to Babylon today

We thought it was just b/c of an oil spill, we didn't know until later about the deaths

I heard the explosion because my gym is right there and I was on the treadmill at the time.

I went into the parking lot and saw the whole thing.

oh my, it's so terrible to see the pictures i couldn't imagine seeing it close up.

This is so sad....i work at Good Samaritan and we are only a few minutes from there so we got a call from the scene to see how many people we could possibly take....knowing that there were 9 cars involved. Unfortunately, 4 of the people were already gone at the scene and one badly burned pt went to Nassau Medical Center. The pt's we got were all stable thnkfully!!

Oh it was terrible. I cant believe 3 poor people have to lose their lives that way. I was so sad yesterday for them

It was really scary...I passed there less than 10 mins before the accident happened. I passed by on my way home from work and the trucks/cars were burned down to their metal frames. It was scary looking.
