When my family attends family functions they always crash with family. But just in case they wanted to get a hotel room I blocked a few rooms . The hotel will only give me like ten accomodation cards. Thats obviously not enough for every invitation. I dont know who is going to want to get a room the night of, so I cant just put them in a few invites. So, should I suck it up and order accomodation cards or should I just trust that any one interested in a hotel room will contact me and ask for information or get the hotel information from the wedding website.

Honestly, they should give you as many as you need for free. At least that's what mine did. Does the hotel have a group sales manager you can speak with?

Re: Accomodation Cards
When I reserve the block of 10 rooms the hotel sent me 20 cards with a note on it that said to contact them if I needed more. The hotel should give you as many as you want, it brings them the business. I would insist on them giving them to you at no charge.

I'm going to try and speak with them, but I dont expect to get anywhere since I only blocked 8 rooms at one hotel and ten at the other. They may not think its enough buisness. Oh and one hotel explicitly told me I would have to make copies.

What hotels did you book with? Our hotel said they'd give me 50 cards.

Re: Accomodation Cards
There arent many hotels near the Crescent and I a lot of hotels were already booked when I started to look, so I went with Glen Cove Mansion and the Roslyn Claremont.

Re: Accomodation Cards
I was given a Microsoft Word template that I could use myself. It looked basically good but I just changed it around a little. I'm one of those I'll just do it myself girls! This way I got to put one in every invitation cause that was important to me. See if they have a sample that you can just print out yourself. It doesn't have to be anything fancy at all.
