Does anyone have a sample of what they put on their Accomodations card?
I've tried five different wordings and they all sound weird.
This is what I have for now:
Arrangements for overnight accommodations have been made at the Glen Cove Mansion.
Reservations may be made by calling (516) 674-**** and asking for the *** Room block, with the group rate of $159 a night.
This rate is only valid for booking until June 24th, 2009.
A complimentary shuttle service will be provided between the Swan Club and the Glen Cove Mansion.

Re: Accomodations card?
I have a ? I'm including an Accommodations card with my invites but so far we are unsure if we will be providing the transportation. The hotel wants $400 just to make one trip there and back whcih I think is nuts considering I don't even know how many people will even stay at the hotel. I wrote on the card to please make note on the response card if they will be staying at the hotel and if there's enough ppl I will have to suck it up and pay the $400 but what if it's like 6 people??

Oooh that s ucks! Do you think your BP will stay at the hotel? That by itself might be a bunch of people.
If you don't have that many people staying maybe you can talk to your limo company about getting a small limo for afterwards added on to your package - it might be cheaper than a shuttle.

I would try that but right now we arent planning on having a limo. Might add it last min but it was just an added cost we didnt think we needed. Plus both the ceremony and reception are at the hall.
