I'm getting this terrible pit in my stomach that all my wires are going to be crossed and things are just going to get messed up, and I don't know if it's because I'm not a trusting person by nature, or I just have a storm cloud, but eep!
Starting to make all my final appointments/confirm insurance certs are sent/etc....and what more can I do but trust that it will all be done? I'm terrified my RH won't accept the insurance certs if it's like missing a dot over the i or something and then I walk in day of and I don't have CPs because my florist was barred entry
Maybe I should have gotten a DOC after all ahhhhh.

Re: ACK final appointment hellllo
The only ppl that need to have insurance the day of are vendors who will be there for the duration of the reception i.e. photo/video and dj/band. All other vendors since they wont be there for long do not require insurance, or thats what my RH told me. Also, if the vendor was there for another wedding within the past 3-6 months then the RH should have insurance on hand for them.

Not with my RH
Gail, would you care to back me up on this one?
No, they're really, really, really strict. Hardcore. I'm completely justified in my panic in this case, unfortunately.

Oh wow. Then I would just ask them who they need insurance from and make sure that those vendors fax it over ASAP.
I didnt realize RH's could or would be so strict.

Deep breaths Ali!!!!!! Everything is going to be PERFECT!!!!!
As far as insurance goes, I never once spoke to a single vendor about whether they have insurance. The RH must've taken care of that stuff, and I guess we were all good because I never heard a word about it. Sometimes it's fun living in a bubble.

Re: ACK final appointment hellllo
My photo/video and florist are the only ones who need to send them because they're not house vendors (DJ is, so don't need to there). Both have said they will send them over, and I don't doubt that they WON'T...my concern is like if they aren't in a certain format or if the cover sheet is like missing our date or our names or something really silly it'll get thrown out and be like oops too bad!

Sounds like you are looking for things to go wrong. Why even bother stressing over something that hasn't happened yet? That's unnecessary... and IMO not fun at all!! I think you need to relax a little. It will all work out. ANd you will have all your vendors etc there.
You need to drink. A LOT!!

I think I was in the same bubble. I did check that all of my vendors were licensed and insured when i booked but that was the end of it. My RH just asked who we were using and that was it - and I know for sure that my florist had never worked there before.

Kerri's right. Don't stress! Call your RH and find out exactly who has to provide the insurance info. You have PLENTY of time to get it to them. Then set a date in a few weeks to call your RH to confirm the vendors actually did send the forms.
You're wedding will be perfect!! Now go ahead and pour yourself a glass of wine!!

We didn't have a DOC and we were fine...FH's cousin helped coordinate in the morning.
