ACK! I'm contagious!

I have strep throat!!! Never had it before, it is NOT fun. Couldn't even swallow water this weekend.

I'm on antibiotics now and feel a bit better today~!

The antibiotics will help. Once you feel better, gargle w salt water too. It really helps.

thats the only bug FH gets! He gets it every year, and if its not caught in time, he's out for at least a week! Keep up with the antibiotics and try to keep your fluids up too! Feel better!

ughh I know! I don't get sick that often so I was really stubborn about going to the doctor but after 4 days of not getting better I had to go. I'm drinking warm lemon and raw organic honey water...

This has been great for my diet lol

omg i was so desperate I was putting salt directly on my tonsils. So nastyyy

The most common symptoms of strep throat are:

A sudden, severe sore throat.
Pain when you swallow.
Fever over 101F.
Swollen tonsils and lymph nodes.
White or yellow spots on the back of a bright red throat.

It hurts sooooo much when you swallow. s u c ks because my stomach would be growling lol but I couldn't eat anything - even soup hurt like hell!
