Does anyone know anything about ADA studios? They are recommended by our catering hall, but I haven't heard anything else about them.

I haven't used them personally but my FBIL and his wife did (their wedding was at East Wind) and their proofs came out amazing!! They were very nice and very professional and it seemed as though they give you a lot for your money. They were even able to get a print made up for FI and I for Christmas of us from their wedding, like a huge one framed and everything!! I'm sorry I can't say more but I HTH!!

The only thing I know about them is that my cousins are still waiting on their album from August. Could just be my cousins though.

We are using them and so far everything has been great.....Two of my friends used them last year and there pictures are amazing.
If you go to talk to them try to meet with Anthony J, he is awesome.

We met with them- we weren't too impressed with the packages- they didn't fit our needs. But FH's cousin used them and from what I've seen her pictures are nice.

FH's cousin used them and the pictures came out great, we were actually just looking thru the album the other day. They had nothing but good things to say about them....we might even end up booking with them!

We met with Anthony in Selden...We are using ADA too! They are great! Check out Tommy's Tunes while you are there if you are looking for a DJ.

I used them (Big John) for my Oct 06 wedding and I was very happy with everything. I have more in my review about them and some pro pics as well. I looked at 5 other photographers prior to booking them and I am glad I did book them in the end. Our photoojournalist was Neo and he was excellent also. FM with any questions.
My friend used them and it took them almost a year to get their pictures...and when they did the sizes were all wrong

My sister used them and she was happy. I'm meeting with them this weekend, but it's with Louise... I keep hearing good things about the Suffolk locations.

My friend had a horrible experience with them. She doesn't even look at her wedding album because she hates all the pictures. She said they were extremely unprofessional.

I used them and had a very good experience. My proofs were beautiful and done quickly. I used Anthony. He had an assistant. Not only were they professional, but they were the sweetest! They also were the ones who called east wind for me about the stain on my dress so that the attendant would be ready and waiting when I got there with something to clean it. They directed me and my BP so nicely and were nice to everyone. They did not leave at the end of the night until they were sure that we got all the shots we wanted. Hope this helps
ETA: I think it is nearly impossible to please every bride and groom who walks in your door...especially when it comes to photos. People have different tastes and expectations.

I used them in March 06 for my wedding & worked with Big John. I would recommend them to anyone. They were very professional the day of & leading up to the wedding. My proofs came out amazing.
In regards to the albums, it does take from 6-8 months from the time you submit your 'album request' to get your album.
We met with them. They had very nice pictures, but their packages didn't meet our needs and were too much money for so little.

We just used them for our wedding. We haven't gotten our proofs yet, but so far we love them. We used Anthony Sandy as our main photographer and Neo was our photojournalist. There was also an assistant Anthony. They were all phenomenal the day of. Everyone was very impressed with them.
