ADA photographers

Ok, so I've seem some alluding on these boards to problems with ADA. I met with Tony in Selden and he seemed really nice and the pictures seemed nice to me. Anyone care to share the problems? You can FM me if you dont want to post here.

I have nothing bad to say about ADA! They did my wedding 3/31 & I could not be happier with my proofs & the service I have received thus far. However, I have never met with Tony, I only worked with Big John....Their service has been nothing but fast! Our proofs were complete not even 2 weeks after the wedding & I have my completed video in hand 2 months after my wedding!!!

I have seen many negative comments on this site about them but then again I have seen the same with other vendors...it is all a judgement call! If you feel comfortable with any vendor, you go with it! Remember there is always going to be ONE person that is not happy with their service!

I know that ADA gets a bad rap on this site, but I personally have had several friends who have used them and everything was fine. I am using them as well, and I met with Anthony in Selden and was completely impressed with him and ADA's work. We just got our engagement pcis taken with the photographer who will be doing our wedding, and he was great too! I think you have to trust your gut - remember they are a HUGE company and do TONS of weddings, so not everyone will be satisfied each time.

We booked them, and so far the only problem we have had with them is one of the ladys that answers the phone there was very nasty to my FH, but that was taken care of. We took our e-pics about 2 weeks ago, they came in and they look great.
A few of my friends are also using them and no one has had any problems with them.

FH and are very happy with our decision to have booked them!!

We will be using them and so far everything has been great. I met a few photographers from there and they all were super nice. Their work is awesome and what I hear the turn around time is fast. As with all vendors, there will always be some people that arent 100% happy. Go with your gut feeling and use your own judgement. These posts are here to help you with the decisions, but remember we all dont always agree on the same things. Good luck to you.

We are using them too. They did my sisters wedding and my cousins wedding and did a great job.

I used them...Anthony was my photographer!

I thought they did a great job!!

You are going to find positive and negative reviews about every vendor...

I would recommend tho, if you have ideas of pics you want, make a MUST TAKE list...I just expected they took pics of groom with flower girl...they did not, without me asking for it.

But I think they are awesome!

we're using them also. 'big john' from the smithtown office. we had no doubts about their work... the only problem i'm having, which i posted, is that i've been trying to get in touch with him for a few weeks to set up e-photos and he hasn't gotten back to us - hasn't returned calls or e-mails.
but i'm not planning on switching photgraphers - just planning on starting to stalk him
