I was wondering if anyone is using ADA Photography or has used them? What did/didn't you like about them? I am considering them as my photographers and would love to hear some info on them.
Thank you, Bridget

Re: ADA Photography has anyone used them?
I will be booking them for my Photgrapher real soon. I love their work and have only heard really good things about them. I have a BM who had 3 cousin's all use them for their weddings and the pics were amazing. I am going with 'Big' John. Everyone there is great. They even give you a free E pic at the beach or where ever if you like or in studio. There are a few girls on here using them, I am sure they will post as well.

Re: ADA Photography has anyone used them?
Most of the people at my mom's work who have gotten married in the last few years have used them and all have been happy with the results. I met with them but decided to go with Imagine instead. Nothing bad about ADA, I just preferred Imagine's style over ADA's style. They were very nice and I liked them.

Re: ADA Photography has anyone used them?
A friend of mine used them 2 years ago in April. She was happy except that she only got a little over 300 proofs. She didn't get much of what was going on at the reception. Some of the pictures of her and her husband were too far away also.
Friends of my FH and I used them last July. They also only received around 300 proofs and got minimal reception stuff. Some of their pictures were dark too.

Re: ADA Photography has anyone used them?
I am using them! It was a hard decision because there are so many great photographers out there. I absolutely love their work, and I just found out a week ago, that FH's cousin that got married in April used them. FMIL saw her proofs and said that they were absolutely amazing, and she got about 500. I just took my engagement shots last saturday, I will post them when I get the proofs back. I am also extremely happy with them because they worked with me in putting together the right package for me. If you have any questions feel free to FM me.
Good Luck!

Re: ADA Photography has anyone used them?
ADA was my original photographer for the day but I did have some problems with them. My girlfriend used them and its now a year and a half later and still no album.
Make sure you get everything in writing with them!!!!
However, I do know a few people who used them and were happy. I wish you all the best.

Re: ADA Photography has anyone used them?
Hello, I just want to let you know about my friends experience with ADA. I cant remember who her Photog. was but she has said that he really kept her from enjoying her wedding. It was kinda akward at times like 1) He caused a traffic jam as the BP were walking down the aisle, because he stopped everyone for a few secs. to take each picture. 2) In her initial meetings they said they'd know a place to take pics in bet. church and ceremony. After the church the Photog. was like where should we go to take pics. He said he didnt know the area. The limo driver actually wound up suggesting that place in Stonybrook near the pond, but by the time they got there so many other wedd. parties were there that they wound up taking pics. in fromt of some dying plants/flowers. And honestly the pictures just didnt look pretty in that spot at all. 3) They missed a large part of the reception because he took a long time, he also both at her house and at the reception called them in to take pics, and waited till they got there to set up his equip. which killed soooo much time.
This guy just didnt seem prepared, and it really did take away from parts of the wedding, because he was very obtrusive. Also she did not get many proofs, and the pics. were just ordinary.
She still hasnt recieved her album, but she said the people were not very helpful in helping them organize it at all. They said 'alright what do you want' and offered no suggestions. They rushed her. Also they messed up I guess her 16X20 portraits, she went to pick them up, it was the wrong picture, there was a poster size picture of her parents!!! (i mean parents are great but who wants a 16X20 of them, instead of the Bride and Groom) ANd after that they were still like well what do you want us to do?
But every vendoor will have good and bad reviews, but for my friend I feel I should let u now. She really doesnt like to talk about it because it makes her angry. She thought it was easier cause they were the House Vendor where her recep. was but she regrets it so much.
But you now what trust your heart, just make sure you demand exactly what you want and get it in writing, meet your photographer and make sure that is who you will get. Be VERY specific, so you have no regrets! Good Luck

Re: ADA Photography has anyone used them?
My friend used them about two years ago and her pics were really nice. They weren't really annoying and she loved the photographer (she had 'Big John' also). She also got her video through them and absolutely adores that. If you are really comfortable with them, use them. But, like has been said before, be very specific.

Re: ADA Photography has anyone used them?
My sister also used ADA a few years ago and i will be using them next year. Depending on what package you want is how many proofs you get. My sister had Tony (the Owner) as her photographer. He was VERY organized and helpfull. He took pics at the house and the church he also took most of the family pics during the cocktail hour so we could get those out of the way and we could enjoy the wedding. who would want to take pictures during most of the reception when your the one who planned everything and u would be taking pics the whole time. My sister loved the quality of the pictures. my sis got 300 proofs which was good enough....you dont need more than 600. a good photographer will take as many pics as needed and not more then that cuz when u have been a photographer for years you know what your doing. the office staff is great u leave a mssage the office manager calls u right back.Peggy the office manager is very good cuz she knows alot about photos, albums and know the cattering halls very well. any questions u have about ADA you should call and ask to speak with her. I have always used ADA for photos with my family. my sis gets her daughters pictures done by ADA! So yes i would highly reccomend ADA. Good luck!
