when you address envelopes to a couple is it 'and' or '+'
Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Smith?
Mr. + Mrs. Anthony Smith?
My mom and Grandma said 'and' is not correct but + looks wrong to me?!

everything should be spelled out ... so 'and' is correct.
also remember to spell out states. numbers can go either way

spelling out 'and' is correct
you also spell out the state (new york) and the street designation (avenue, street, boulevard)

I used the 'and' symbol on mine... I think it looks the best too.
