I am planning to address my own invites using clear labels and a nice font on the computer. Do any girls have any pictures of this or reccomend any fonts?

I used Edwardian Script when I did some of my sister's B-list, but I printed right on the envelope. it's only a little extra effort and it looks a LOT nicer IMO

I'm about to print mine today (i have to use work laser printer bc home ink printer shmears on the clear labels) and I'm playing with the font. I like Edwardian scrip but wasnt sure if it was too swirly for mailing labels. I also tried Lucida Calligraphy as my back up. I couldn't print on the envelopes like i wanted to bc it also schmeared bc of the material of the envelope.
ETA: my favorite script font is Snell but my work computer doesn't have it :( Thats what we used for RSVP cards and invites, etc.

For our STD we printed on the actual envelopes and it looked great. Just put the envelopes in the feed tray on your printer

Word has a wizard for it. You just put in the dimensions of the envelope and it sets it up for you. It takes a few practice tries (i just folded a piece of paper to practice) but it looks nice. When I did it for my sister's B list it looked EXACTLY like the 'computer calligraphy' she had paid $1.25 an envelope to have done

thanks! I cant wait to try this... so did you just type each address one by one on a blank page in word? I have my addresses all set up in a file margined for labels.

I printed them all on the envelopes as well, it was tedious but def a cleaner look. I used Monotype Corsive font size 26. I did a mail merge and they came out AWESOME!!!

I am printing mine from the computer onto the envelope too! I have been told by many that you should never use clear labels for wedding invites
