Here is what it says in my invite addressing guide:

Married Couple-both are doctors:

Outer:
Doctor Jane Davis and Doctor Carl Davis
or
The Doctors Davis

Inner:
The Doctors Davis


Married Couple-both are doctors with different last names

Outer:
Doctor Jane Jones
and Doctor Carl Davis

Inner:
Doctor Jones and Doctor Davis
