If you are inviting parents and their kids.. and each kid has a boyfriend/girlfriend, do you have to send 2 separate invites? 1 to the parents and 1 to the kids with guests... or can you do 1 invite saying 'The Smith Family & guests'? I have never seen this before... anyone else do this??

I think if the kids are 18+ they get their own invite, but if younger you can write 'The Smith Family' and then let them know so and so can bring a guest. If the kid is old enough to have a bf/gf that you feel should be invited I would prob send a sep invite! HTH
