Addressing Question

for the outer envelope, if a family is being invited to I put

The Smith Family

or do i put

Mr. and Mrs. Smith
and Family

because I am seeing it being done both ways.

Re: Addressing Question

I think the first way is a little less formal. And to confuse matters even more I think you can also list the kids underneath like

Mr. and Mrs. Bob Smith
Miss Sara and Mr. Adam Smith

or, I think you can leave them out on the outer envelope and just put them on the inner envelope, if you have an inner envelope with names too.

On my Stds I listed the kids underneath the adult names

Re: Addressing Question

I think either one is fine... the only difference is that the smith family will save more space on the envelope

I put 'The Smith Family'.

Re: Addressing Question

yeah I'm leaning more towards 'The Smith Family' for space reason.

Thx!

Re: Addressing Question

We don't have that many kids that would be included as 'family' so we are sending separate invitations to the kids so that they get something with their name on it.

Sorry I'm no help
