I am sitting here right now, trying to go over my guest list, I am trying to organize it, now here is the question.
When you mail out Save The Dates, do you address it to (if the person is single) Ms. Jane Doe and Guest or do you just send it to Ms. Jane Doe???
I never thought that addressing envelopes could be so time consuming and difficult!
Please help!!

We sent ours out about a month ago and I addressed them Mr John Doe..... I didnt even think about putting guest to tell you the truth but to me no big deal it will be correct when the invitations go out So as far as STD I dont think it really matters.

I didn't put 'and guest' on mine, just because I figured I would wait til it got closer to the wedding to determine who I was going to invite with a guest. Some people may have a 'serious' significant other when it gets closer and I'd prefer to address them by their name.

On the envelope you address it to the person who lives there. I wouldnt even write about a guest until you send out the invites.

I didn't put 'and Guest' or 'and family' on any of the stds. I just figured to do that for the invites.

I agree with the others, it's a STD not the invite....they could be single now and married by invite time (stranger things happen), married and divorced, dating seriously and then single by invite time....so for now, just the actual guest (Ms. Jane Doe).
