So this may have been asked to death but I am starting to type up my address labels for the STDs (at least my side becasue FH's side is not done lol).
How is everyone addressing these?
Also, may seem like a dumb question, but if you are not using calligraphy, in what font is everyone typing there address labels? I can't choose! LOL

I like the monotype Corsiva. I used that for the e-party invites... there are a few scripts that are nice though!

Does anyone have a free website where you can download fonts? The one I used to use, you have to pay for now... booo!

For addressing - I'm going to do it the same way I would for the wedding invites... I'm all about consistency, I guess i am a bit ADD like that.
For fonts - i think there are some sites you can download fonts from if you don't like the ones you previously have. I feel like a bride on the 10 boards mentioned a site you can DL free fonts from.

use urbanfonts.com - you can type in text that you want to see displayed in each font, so it's easier to choose.

Re: Addressing STDs/Font
whoops, hit post too soon...
For the addressing, I've always addressed STDs formally - just b/c I prefer perfecting the list once, not once for STDs and again for invites. The only thing with STDs is that we leave off the 'and Guest' to whoever that would apply to on the real invitation.

FH and I didn't have a budget for an e-party but his grandmother insisted on sending out engagment announcements. I made them up on snapfish and made the labels at work.

Re: Addressing STDs/Font
I guess i'm plain when it came to this but i just used a regular font from vista. I also addressed them like' Mr. and Mrs. so and so or Mr. so and so ( if being invited alone)

Re: Addressing STDs/Font
I had a hard time deciding when we did our e-announcements, so when I made my labels, I did them all in TImes new roman and then I went through each label and made each one a different font to see which I liked.
I wound up choosing Script MT Bold. LOVE IT!

PS, I did my e-announcements formally and will do my STD's and invites the same way.
