Addressing the save the dates?

Addressing the save the dates?

I am about to address my save the dates but I have two questions.
1. Are you addressing them formally (eg. Mr. and Mrs. John Smith) or just writing John and Jane Smith?
2. The STD's that you are sending to people invited with guest (John Smith and guest) are you writing 'and guest' on the STD or just the name of the person you are inviting?
Thanks!

I did address them formally. I didn't write 'and guest,' for those being invited with guests. I'm just going to put that on the formal invitation. I don't know if there is a right or wrong way of doing save the dates. I hope I did mine correctly!

This is what I was planning on doing also. I figured I didn't want to commit to who I was or was not inviting with a guest a year in advance.

I did the same thing. I liked it being formal. Made me feel like things are official!
