For those people addressing your own invites, is there anyone that used a font in word? Does it matter if my font on the back of the invite doesnt exactly match the front? I am having a problem matching it. I am not sure if its a big deal. Any suggestions or advice? Help

Re: Addressing your own invites
I used english something in Wordperfect, it didn't match the return address but it was similar. Hope this helps a little.

I think we used Signet roundhand for my brothers wedding.

Re: Addressing your own invites
Keeping in mind that Im anal retentive when it comes to wedding details AND I designed my own invite, my fonts did match - front back and inside.
If they didn't, it would have probably drove me crazy. But I know that 99% of people dont notice in the least this sort of thing.
I used Bickham Script.

Re: Addressing your own invites
The font on my invites matches the font on my envelopes (chase callas), but does not match the font of my return address exactly. We had an envelope issue otherwise they all would have matched.

Re: Addressing your own invites
I didn't match it at all. Never even thought too much about it.
I had a plain gold script on the back with the return address and then used a black calligraphy font on the front. I just didn't like some of the sript fonts in bigger writing - thought is started to look unreadable and do squiggly.

My eparty invites matched fonts throughout on the inside and on the outside. Can you ask the vendor/printer what font was used and try to get it for free online?

Re: Addressing your own invites
I used English something. Forgot the whole name, but it's a fancy Calligraphy type Script.
Jenn, I did the same Exact thing!!!! actually got that site from your post (THANK YOU!) and found allegro that matched ours too! Just finished printing the envelopes last night and they are perfect!!!
but if I didn't get to download that font, I would have tried to match, but if it wasn't exact, no big deal!

Re: Addressing your own invites
What did you do once you downloaded the font? My guest list is set up in an excel format and I was doing the envelopes in word. How do you get the font into the word document? I am clueless

Re: Addressing your own invites
Jenn, we had about 60 invites and it took a couple of hours for the outside and inside envelope. we used a deskjet and I was worried at first, but then it was easy. Babyblue-- I have all my addresses set up on an excel file and went into word/mail merge option. Let me know if you need help and I will try to walk you through it.
Jenn, also, we printed 1 at a time. form fed one and printed selected page. not one envelope got messed!
