Adobe Photoshop Pros

On Adobe photoshop can you fix pixels and resolution of a picture. I had a pic that was very high resolution and I made it smaller by accident and saved it that way. now when I try to size it back it looks terrible. How can I fix this??!!

i honestly dont think there is but im not a Pro per say so maybe there is a trick im not aware of. usually when im editing a pic i never save over the old one, i 'save as' and make a new file

I am so there. Sorry about the photoshop mishap. I've had my share. Now the first thing I do is save to a different name or make change to different layers. I feel your pain though

once you downsize a pic & save it there is no way to get the resolution quality back...unless you have an older version of the file on a backup somewhere...a good rule when working in PhotoShop is before doing anything....save a new copy of the file as a different name so you always have the original to go back to....sorry i didn't have better news!
