This is a really wonderful thing that my alma mater is doing to support our troops in Iraq. I encourage you to put politics aside and sign up, especially during the holidays when the troops are especially homesick.
thats a idea i would also like to see if there is a website where you can write to the soliders.

Thank you for posting this. Its a wonderful example of how a little goes a long way. Many of these guys and gals dont have anyone and this would be a great boost in spirits for them !

I'm glad you guys have participated. It's just a small way we can support our troops but from what I understand, they really appreciate this.

I told some teachers at my mother's school too and they have signed up a few classes. We're still waiting for the starter kits. Every day the kids come into my class and ask me if we got them yet! It's nice to see they so excited about it!
