Can someone please tell me who/where/ how they addressed their wedding invites????
I need mine to go out this weekend, and am not sure what to do about this HUGE problem????
How much does it usually cost????
Who does it?
Any recommendations?

Re: adressing invites?!?!?!
I was going to get a calligrapher until everyone commented how nicely my STD's were addressed and I did them myself!!!!
I got a uni-ball pen at Staples for 8 bucks that writes really nicely.
I figure my handwriting is pretty nice so why pay someone to do it? I mean of course it looks better if done professionally but I will save myself 1-2 dollars per envelope x 100+ envelopes by doing it myself.
Plus when you add in postage for the outer envelopes AND response cards ...things can get pricey.
If you cant find a pro, DIY or ask a fam member or even a BP member with nice handwriting to help

Re: adressing invites?!?!?!
I used Michele Clark. She is fantastic. I read such great reviews about her and when i did my research she was by far the best priced with work that is comparable to more well known calligraphers. she is super quick and very responsive via. email. I literally sent her my envelopes this past monday and she is already sending them back to me (2 day turnaround)! i thought she would need more time but she is very diligent. I cant wait to see them. try emailing her to see if she has any openings.
I def. just did it myself. FH was going to print out pretty labels...but... I didn't like the idea of sticking a label on it. So everyone will just have to deal with my handwriting on them all! LOL If they don't like it, then they don't have to come.HAHAHAHA

I did a mail merge in MS Word and printed right on the envelope. It looked like calligraphy.

I did a mail merge in MS Word and printed right on the envelope.
I am probably going to do the same thing with a bit of help from some of my BMs!

I had to pdf it and then print it from Adobe to get it to work. No matter what I did in Word, it wouldn't print the right size. FM me if you need any help and I can tell you my envelope printing secrets.
