Re: Adrienne's Bridal
I am going to Angel Bridal on Main St in East Islip (next to the CVS shopping center and across from the laundromat). They are very nice there and I know a few brides that have raved about the service. They also said they would match some prices that I have seen elsewhere.
Re: Adrienne's Bridal
I actually went to Adrienne's because I have been a BM 6 times, and had the best dress experience there. I just got a strange feeling when the saleswoman would not tell me anything about the dress. The problem is -- I feel in LOVE with the two dresses there. I will look for similar ones elsewhere, I guess....
Re: Adrienne's Bridal
Try Carmela's in huntington!

That same kind of thing happened to me in the same store. It was a round rack and the sale lady said the only other place I would find the dresses might be Kleinfeld's.
Re: Adrienne's Bridal
They are over priced! I also have heard some not so good things about them but when I went there they seemed very nice. I found a dress there and it was about $3300. I just saw it somewhere else in a different color and it was $2700. The lady wouldn't tell me who made it.
Re: Adrienne's Bridal
I had a negative experience there - I got my girls shawls - they told me 6 weeks it took closer to 4-5 months to get them - what you really need to do it stay on top of them and you should be ok - they just NEVER ordered mine and kept telling me OH they will be when your dresses are in - BUT I didn't order any dresses - both my mother (since I was in MI) and I had to really push - but they did come in ok - but that was after more than 15 phone calls and 3-4 visits.
Re: Adrienne's Bridal
I just went there on Monday to look at headpieces and when I found one I liked, but didn't love, I asked who the designer was so maybe I could see if they made others similar, but more for me. I, too, was told that it was designed exclusively for me. Grr... well who designed? Some nameless person, or does he/she do other stuff?
Re: Adrienne's Bridal
I got my dress at Adrienne's as well and have my first fitting on Friday so I'll tell you how it goes!! I know they do have their own designer there though b/c I saw him come out to talk to a girl on a Sat am. who wanted his dress.
Re: Adrienne's Bridal
I had a bad expreience with them too! I ordered my gown in July. 3 weeks ago I got a postcard saying my dress was in so I was all excited and went to see it, I am glad I did, it was the WRONG DRESS. I am glad I was anxious to see it otherwise it may have been to late. They claim the designer sent the wrong dress to them so they have to reorder my correct dress. I was so upset and the lady there was so rude and not comforting at all. I am still waiting for confirmation that the correct dress is being sent but it wont be in until sometime end of May. I wish I never ordered my gown through them. I am keeping my fingers crossed that they get it right this time otherwise I dont know what I am going to do!
