Hey girls. does anyone know what designers Adrienne's carries in Islip?

I got a 2bebride dress from them and know they carry Jim Hjelm. And I know you were not asking if they are a good place to go, but I feel obligated to tell you about my experience there since it sounds like you may go there. I had no problems buying my dress, the ladies were great and I had no issues. Come time for alterations it was a nighmare -- I ended up going for 5 fittings and two of them were 2 days before my wedding -- they had the dress ready for me to pick up and when I looked at it the lace was hanging off the sides and it still didn't fit me since they didn't complete the alterations. The dress fit ok after the 5th fitting but now that I see pictures from my wedding I am not thrilled with the way it looked. I also had a bad experience with buying bridesmaid dresses there. The service in the maids cottage was horrible and the dresses didn't come in until close to 2 weeks from the wedding when they were ordered 8 months in advance. I just really don't recommend going there, but if you do, good luck.

Wish I could tell you.. I had tried on dresses there and they are all coded so you don't know who the designer is unless you buy the dress Is that supposed to make you want to buy from them?

I had a bad experience with them and WOULD NEVER go to them to purchase a dress. I also think that its odd and sneaky that they don't allow you to know who the designers are until you decide to purchase the dress. What kind of BS is that! Anyhow- I did purchase a dress from them and decided to cancel within 24 hours. The owner told me she would try to get me the dress I wanted for a better price and weeks went by with out her calling me. I tried to get in touch with her every day for two weeks straight and she never called me back. Also- the two times I was there, there were customers complaining.

They are the worst and so fake! The only good thing about them is they have nice dresses!

Go to Babylon Bridal- they are SUPER NICE. I didn't end up buying through them but I would have if they had my dress. They have a ton of nice dresses.

Thanks so much girls, I appreciate it! I went there today and I found 2 dresses that I loved so I asked the girl who was helping me for the names. She was nice enough to give them to me so.....because you girls are so awesome and I know that the LI Girls on here have my back, I am going to go elsewhere. Thank you girls!!!

p.s. where is the babylon bridal place - i cant find it!

I ordered my dress from there in January still not in, Im not angry yet and I dont have a problem with them yet .... bridemaids department stinks they are rude over there. . .

I believe they dont let you know who the dresses are by because they dont want to loose business by someone finding it for a cheeper price, i really didn't have a problem with that because I wasnt looking for my dress because it was by so and so...hth

My friend didnt start having problems until she went for fittings.... then the REAL drama began!!! I had problems everytime I went to the BM section... I will nEVER buy a dress from there again!!
