Try Pat Hannafin's on route 110 in Huntington. I used to go there as a little girl. I don't know if they are still there. I remmember them having some adult classes when I was young. I whish I could go!

It's really tough to do something like that on LI b/c dance studios tend to make you perform in recitals - but your best bet would be at a gym or in the city.

Definitely at a gym. Bally's used to have hip hop group exercise classes. But the only one I ever took them at was in the Bronx. But I'm sure one of the one's on the island must have them and if not, try other gyms.

In my neighborhood the aduly classes dindt usually do the recitals nad if they did you could opt out. I'm looking for an adult jazz or tap class for the summer,
But where I live adult summer classes are VERY rare.

I used to go to Pat Hannifans when I was younger too...they were on 110 but they moved to Wolf Hill Road/Old COuntry Road...ow long ago were you there?

Ive taken summer adult classes. Unfortunatley, I live in Nassau. But when I was desperate, I took summer classes with older teens/college students. I always had a good time.
