2. Label and take pics of everything being dropped off to RH
3. Sense of humor and selective hearing when dealing with P.I.A in-laws

My favorite current sayings: Opinions are like as%hol#es, everyones got one.

Be very very organized. Cause I have papers everywhere I should listen to my own advice

-Dont listen to othe peoples personal opinions on what you should and should not do
-Pay close attention to contracts
-Ask any and all questions no matter how silly they seem

Contracts: read and unsterstand what you are signing.

It is your day. Try not to let other people rain on your parade.

have a thick skin because everyone is going to tell you what they think or what they would do

my grandmother told me this a few days after I got engaged.

The funniest part of this all is that everyone says 'do whatever you want--it's your day!' Then, the same people turn around and tell you what to do!

Other advice:
1) Number the back of your reply cards and keep a list of who got what number, in case you get a card back that doesn't have the person's name on it. Supposedly people forget to put their names on there.

2) Don't spend a lot of $$ on your wedding. You won't get it back.

1. Do what YOU want because it's YOUR day.
2. Stand back on your wedding day and really take it all in. Don't miss all the little details you spent months upon months taking care of.

I agree!!!!!!!!

-enjoy every moment b/c your day goes by sooo fast
-count you & fh in total head count
-go with your gut on your vendors
-hire a DOC - alot of my nerves have gone away just knowing she will be there
-relax - things are going happen and go wrong - just go with the flow and enjoy your day

Unless I win on the scratch off s FH and I buy. I will not be able to get a DOC. I was told by a couple of gals that since I'm having the ceremony and reception in one place that I would not need one.

While planning your wedding.... remember the wedding is just one day... try to plan for your marriage as well.

gotta love mommy!!!

Remember: the day is about you and your husband celebrating your love for each other, not the fact that the color of the bows on the programs match the bm's jewelry. Keep the focus on the real important thing: you're commiting to one person for the rest of your life!
