I have some advice for you ladies. I spoke with a friend of mine this weekend whose wedding is March 24th and her dress JUST came in last Wednesday or Thursday. She went to see it to make sure it was correct (it seems that she made changes) well the whole dress is wrong. I hope they can do something for her or she'll be dressless because she hates the one that came in.

Now for my advice ask you dress place to make sure your dress is in as early as it can be. Also even if you dress is in very early go and look at it to make sure it is what your ordered. I don't know what my friend is going to do.

I have heard of this happening. I lied to the salon and told them my wedding date is 4 weeks before my actual date.

I ordered my dress in July 2006. It came in about a month ago, and it was all wrong. Wrong colors, and it was sleeveless, while my dress has 3/4 sleeves.

It was re-ordered and a rush was put on it (at no cost to me)...I'm expecting it in late May now (6 months til my wedding). if its wrong again, I'm seriously going to DO SOMETHING REALLY BAD!!!

I origninally told the bridal salon the correct date and then my aunt told me to lie and tell them it was actually a month before my actual date so that it would come in on time. I probably should have looked at a calender b/c i gave them oct 11, exactly one month before my actual wedding date...and its a Thursday night...LOL. oh well. it is what it is right?

I ordered my dress in August '06 for a June '07 wedding....everyone said I had sooo much time. Well luckily I did. I called three months later when the dress was expected to arrive & found out the order was never placed !!! Then when my dress finally arrived in January it was the wrong size !! So luckily I had more than enough time to deal with all their mistakes - New Best Fashions in Port Jefferson. I would've went somewhere else if they didn't already have our deposit & the dress weren't more expensive elsewhere.

If I could do it over again I was better off ordering the dress online....I already tried it on & knew the style..plus the woman pulled it out of the box they shipped it to her in?!?! I would've had less headaches cutting out the middle man !
