Hiiii... I need some advice. My FH and I want to start planning our honeymoon... However, my brother drowned 3years ago and I can not bare to look at beaches. We really want to pick something nice but can't seem to think of anything worth while that doesn't involve water. We have already been to Italy so that is out of the Q because FH has family that lives there and he visits every year. We want something new, exciting, and FAR!!! Can anyone help us out?!

Well, you could go Island Hopping in the Caribbean and enjoy the national scenery without actually going into the water. The Bahamas have so much to offer beyond the water with the town and histoic life, plus the casinos.
If you want to stay away from that - you could tour New Zealand and Australia - you can see the landscape and relax under the sun!
There's the possibility of taking a tour of the western US (visiting the vineyards in CA and driving up and down the Pacific Coast Highway) and still enjoying the sun!
How about a tour of Europe? Even though you've been to Italy, there is still so much to see!!
Or better yet, how about an African Safari - no water, seeing animals in their natural habitat and doing something that is a once a lifetime event! A co worker did this and loved it!!
I have a wonderful TA who is a vendor on here and could help you out and narrow down some choices for you! A lot of LIW girls use her b/c they referred me to her! FM me for details!

visit beautiful scenic Poland!!

I'm very sorry to hear about your brother.
One possibility might be inland Europe. Switzerland was gorgeous. Or, perhaps the western us, i.e. las vegas, new mexico, arizona, etc.

I would go to Europe... Spain, Italy.. UK.. Greece. So so many places that dont involve water.

How bout mountains? Go to the Alps, or if thats out of your budget, a fancy ski resort in the Rockies. They have gorgoes rooms and have spas and activites in the off season too.

California wine country? We ended our honeymoon in Sonoma & one day in San Fran. The wine country is gorgeous.

I am so sorry to hear that.
Since you are getting married in November how about somewhere like Aspen Colorado. There are some georgeous ski resorts there and it can also be very romantic.

since it sounds like you don't mind far... how bout austrailia? friends of ours went there for their honeymoon in october and had a blast! their pics were gorgeous! i think they spent about 2 weeks there touring all over....
