Advice... Can't go away near water

Hiiii... I need some advice. My FH and I want to start planning our honeymoon... However, my brother drowned 3years ago and I can not bare to look at beaches. We really want to pick something nice but can't seem to think of anything worth while that doesn't involve water. We have already been to Italy so that is out of the Q because FH has family that lives there and he visits every year. We want something new, exciting, and FAR!!! Can anyone help us out?!

I'm so sorry about your brother. Why don't you go to a travel agent and ask them for ideas? You cannot be the first HM couple who want to go somewhere different. They have to have ideas! It's what they do!

Africa is a great option if you don't want to go near water. Depending on your budget, you can customize your safari to meet your needs. We are doing a 10 day safari and are ending the HM with 4 nights on the beach...but you can cut out the last part. And since you're looking for far..the connecting flights in total are 17 hours.

Spain, Madrid, seville and other spots. My parents and other people have said how beautiful Spain is. They say it is the Florida or Europe, because it is so layed back.

I just watched another episode of Globe Trekker on Travel Channel and he was backpacking through Austria... it is beautiful, lots of historical places to see...
